The December meeting was well attended. Meeting was held at the Cambridge Savings Bank with refreshments and an optimistic crowd over over 40 people.

Tim Stone, Volunteer Coordinator and co-founder of Beautiful Newonville launched the meeting by reviewing the Team goals and organization. Team Coordinators were chosen and attendees were invited to join a team.

Beverly Goldstein, owner of Natural Sense and co-founder of Beautiful Newtonville introduced the hosts of the evening, Cambridge Savings Bank. Cambridge Savings Bank announced a generous donation of $5,000 to Beautiful Newtonville, a vote of confidence in our ability to plan and implement a collaborative vision of renewal.

The agenda for this meeting was about the Austic Steet Development. Candace Havens, Director of Newton Planning and Development, described the Austin St Development.
Matt Cuddy, an urban planner, laid out his vision of an overall parking strategy for the village in the context of Austin St.
Questions and answers followed the presentation.
