Beautiful Newtonville and the City Planning Department organized a successful March 23, 2013 meeting to facilitate public input on revitalizing Walnut St. (between Newtonville Ave and Washington Park) in conjunction with its planned 2014 repaving. 100 Newtonville residents and businesses turned out for the meeting. 80 (including ten nonprofits and businesses) divided into working groups to present ideas on subjects including improved sidewalks, landscaping, and parking.
